PCD Global has announced plans to launch its PNG arm as PCD PNG after its strong presence at the 2025 PNG Industrial and Mining Resources Exhibition and Conference, which ended today in Port Moresby.
Managing Director Ty Jarvis said on the final day of the expo that the launching PCD PNG is part of a long-term plan to grow the business in Papua New Guinea and better support the community and country’s mining and industrial sectors.
“As part of our global expansion, we’re planning to launch as PCD PNG,” said Jarvis.
“We’ll be opening our office in PNG in the next month or two, with main logistics hubs in Lae and Port Moresby.”
To support this local move, Mr. Taunamo R. Idau-Tau, the company’s PNG National Manager, will lead operations in PNG. This shows PCD’s commitment to creating local job opportunities for Papua New Guineans.
PCD is known for providing high-quality products from the United States and Australia.
It is now bringing in a range of biodegradable and environmentally friendly products that suit PNG’s industrial needs.

Many businesses and mining companies who visited the PCD Global booth at the expo showed strong interest in its products. Some even said PCD PNG could become a trusted and reliable supplier for the industry.

The PNG Industrial and Mining Resources Exhibition and Conference is held every year and brings together companies from PNG and around the world to share new products and ideas.
